Payment and Refunds

1. Payment Methods

CAR-RENT.UA services may be paid for by bank card via the LiqPay payment service, by bank transfer, or by another payment method agreed with the company.

Before making a payment, the customer receives information about the service, vehicle/booking, and payment amount.

2. Card Payment Security

When paying by bank card, the payment is processed on a secure payment page provided by the payment service.

CAR-RENT.UA does not receive or store the customer’s full payment card details.

3. Cancellation of a Booking Before the Rental Begins

The customer may contact CAR-RENT.UA to request cancellation of a booking. The possibility and amount of any refund of the advance payment depend on the terms of the specific booking, the time remaining before the scheduled vehicle pick-up, and the actual costs incurred by the company.

The cancellation terms applicable to a specific booking are communicated to the customer before the advance payment is made.

4. If the Agreed Service Cannot Be Provided by the Company

If an agreed and paid service cannot be provided by CAR-RENT.UA and the parties have not agreed on a replacement vehicle or another way to fulfill the order, the amount paid for the service that was not provided will be refunded to the customer.

5. After the Rental Begins

After the vehicle has been actually picked up, the terms for early termination of the rental and final settlement are determined by the rental agreement. Payment for the period of vehicle use that has already been provided is non-refundable unless otherwise provided by the agreement or applicable law.

The final settlement may include expenses provided for in the agreement, including delivery/return, fuel, excess mileage, damage, and other additional services.

6. How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request, the customer may contact us via Telegram: @carrentinukraine or use the current phone number/e-mail published on the “Contacts” page.

The request should preferably include: full name, phone number, vehicle, booking/rental date, payment amount, and reason for the request.

7. Refund Method

Card payment refunds are processed in accordance with the rules of the payment service and payment system and, as a general rule, are made to the same payment instrument used to make the original payment.

The actual time required for the refunded amount to be credited may depend on the customer’s bank and the payment system.

8. Product Exchanges and Vehicle Replacement

CAR-RENT.UA provides car rental services and does not sell physical goods remotely through this page. Therefore, the standard product exchange procedure does not apply to rental services.

Where technically possible and subject to agreement between the parties, the customer may be offered a different vehicle. The replacement terms and any possible change in price are agreed separately.
